  • Old Brewery Mission – Patricia Mackenzie Pavilion: Housing for 0 to 3 months for women experiencing homelessness aged 18 and over. 30 beds available during the summer and 40 during the winter. 514-526-6446

EMERGENCY SHELTERS FOR MEN  

  • La Maison du Père: Shelter for one night that includes an evening meal, a shower and breakfast the following day. $1 per night, 170 beds. 514-845-0168 extension 230 
  • Welcome Hall Mission: Provides shelter and hot meals. 187 beds and 5 for people with reduced mobility. 514-935-6396 

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR WOMEN

Medium-term housing with the goal of helping women transition to permanent housing.  

  • Le Chaînon: Temporary housing for up to one year for women in difficult situations aged 18 and over. 514-845-0151 
  • L’abri de l’espoir de l’Armée du salut: Temporary housing for up to two years for women aged 18 and over in difficult situations or experiencing homelessness, and who don’t have kids. 514-934-5615 

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR MEN 

Medium-term housing with the goal of helping men transition to permanent housing.  

  • La Maison du Père – Le Transit: Transitional housing for up to 18 months for men aged 25 and over going through a difficult period. Capacity for 62 people. 514-845-0168 extension 234 

SUPERVISED HOUSING FOR WOMEN

Programs for women that provide social housing with community support.  

  • Réseau Habitation Femmes: Permanent social housing with community support for women in difficult situations aged 18 and over. 49 studios and 33 apartments, 3 ½ apartments priced at the equivalent of 25% of income. 514-875-9529

SUPERVISED HOUSING FOR MEN  

Programs for men that provide social housing with community support.  

  • Old Brewery Mission – Marcelle and Jean Coutu Pavilions: Social housing with individual support for men experiencing homelessness. 30 housing units priced at the equivalent of 25% of income. 514-788-1496 

SUPERVISED HOUSING FOR YOUNG ADULTS 

  • Dans la rue: 17 housing units with community support for youth in difficult situations. 514-526-7677 

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR SENIORS 

Housing programs for people aged 55 and over.  

  • La Maison du Père – Résidence J.A. de Sève: Permanent housing. Includes one bedroom and community support. For men aged 50 and over who have experienced homelessness, had or have mental health issues, and who wish to break the cycle of homelessness. Capacity for 78 people. 514-843-3739 

YOUTH SHELTERS 

  • Dans la rue – Le Bunker: Emergency housing (shelter) for 3 to 5 days with breakfasts and dinners included; for youth between the ages of 12 and 21 experiencing homelessness. There is a total of 17 beds. 1-888-520-7677 
  • Refuge des jeunes de Montréal: Provides temporary housing for about 1 month for men between the ages of 17 and 25 experiencing homelessness. There is a total of 45 beds. 514-849-4221 
  • En marge 12-17: Temporary housing for 30 to 60 days. Includes meals and social housing with community support for youth in difficult situations between the ages of 12 and 17. 514-849-7117
